Lilia! and A Time to Dance by Libby Skala
In Lilia!, Libby Skala tells the story of her grandmother, Lilia Skala, Austria's first female architect, who escaped the Nazis to become an Oscar-nominated actress (Lilies of the Field).  Libby's performance continues the lifelong conversation between grandmother and granddaughter, recording the journey of a remarkable spirit.
Lisl:  A Time to Dance is the story of Libby's great aunt, Lilia's younger sister Lisl (Elizabeth Polk), an Austrian dancer who became a pioneer of Dance Therapy in America.  A dazzling story-teller, Lisl dances through a turbulent life spanning the 20th Century.
LiLiA! and Lisl: A Time to Dance
are produced in association with Artistic New Directions
